CRET Summit 2023
On the 24th and 25th of April, the Intercontinental Hotel in San José, Costa Rica, hosted the latest edition of the Commercial Real Estate Trends (CRET), an annual event that highlights the newest trends in Real Estate and commercial property developments.

The 2023 edition saw experts from a variety of disciplines engage in discussions about the challenges and opportunities within the sector, focusing on specific areas such as logistics, shopping centers, mixed-use developments, hospitality, and office spaces, among others.
Hernán Freer, the director of INversión INmobiliaria Magazine and the event's organizer, highlighted the unique aspect of the conference, stating, "Each edition has successfully brought together a diverse mix of professionals and experts who play a significant role in the value chain."
On the event's second day, Ricardo Fernández, Regional Manager for the Business Development department at the Studio, led a workshop titled "Mixed Uses: How Architecture Can Enhance Our Cities."
His presentation delved into the transformative potential of mixed-use developments for urban design, emphasizing their benefits in terms of profitability and improving the quality of life for residents.
Reflecting on his contribution, Ricardo noted, "Given Costa Rica's substantial growth, the integration of mixed-use urban elements becomes a crucial component in the country's urbanistic development."
