Organized by Grupo SyG, the congress attracted 1,000 industry professionals and featured 150 projects from diverse programs. Additionally, more than 50 speakers delivered insightful lectures focused on the latest trends, innovations, and business opportunities in the Latin American Real Estate market.
Gómez Platero Arquitectura & Urbanismo was among the participants in this edition of Expo Real Estate. Álvaro Sorrondegui, the firm's Executive Project Manager, joined a panel on architecture and Real Estate development.
The panel comprised Fernando Sabatini (partner at MRA+A), Martin Jasper (founder of Jasper Architects), Roberto Antonio Converti (director of the urban office), Gerardo Azcuy (founder and general director at Azcuy), Juan Urgell (lead of the Urgell-Penedo-Urgell studio), Myriam Heredia (housing and habitat consultant), Rodolfo Miani (partner at BMA Arq), and was moderated by Gervasio Ruiz de Gopegui (IRSA ventures manager).
Guided by questions from Gervasio Ruiz, each panelist presented their professional insights on the current state of the Argentine and regional Real Estate sectors. They discussed the intersection of business opportunities and best practices in architectural and urban project development with the continent's economic, social, and cultural contexts.
"Architecture allows us to create spaces that enhance social relationships (...) The best amenity we can incorporate into a development is a positive relationship with the city," Sorrondegui concluded.
