GRI Club is a meeting and networking platform that brings together executives and senior managers from the real estate, architecture, and infrastructure sectors in an intimate and relaxed environment. Here, participants can debate, exchange information, meet investment funds, share valuable experiences, and strengthen business relationships that connect all sectors locally and globally.

Gómez Platero Architecture & Urbanism, participated in both editions. Ricardo Fernández, our Regional Business Development Manager, took part in the Panama edition, while Rafael Baquerizo, Commercial Executive for the northern South American countries, participated in the edition held in Lima.

Ricardo was part of a participatory talk titled "Offices and workspaces, hybrid dynamics, and business models" along with other opinion leaders such as Katherine Shahani (Partner, Grupo Shahani), Wilkin Melendez (IT director, Ultrapark), and moderated by Carlos Robles (Managing director & Market Leader, Newmark).

On the other hand, Rafael participated in a similarly formatted talk on mixed uses "How to successfully balance the scales?" about the challenges, solutions, and best practices related to this type of projects. The panel was integrated by Carlos Saco-Vertiz (Partner BBGS Abogados), Hugo Desenzani (CEO Urbanova), José Rubén (Senior director Jamestown), Juan Paredes (director Marriott International Miami), Ruth Fernandez (Urban Development and Environment Manager, Municipality of Miraflores), and Claudia Lucena (Partner Miranda & Amado Abogados) as the moderator.

Regarding their respective experiences, Ricardo considers that "GRI Club is an event that always surprises from its format. The dynamics in which I was able to participate and the conversations that are generated contribute a lot to the debate. It allows all industry players to share our experiences in a relaxed and close environment, ideal for bringing new ideas and building knowledge".

Rafael stated that "the event experience was very rewarding and enriching. A very good mix was generated between the experience of people who have been working in the field for 20 or 30 years and the future vision brought by young people with disruptive ideas. This exchange of ideas and visions is what gives great value to these types of meetings".
