GP at the 10th Colombian Design Fair 2023

For the second consecutive year, the Studio participated in the Design Fair, held from September 14th to 16th at Plaza Mayor in the city of Medellín. Celebrating its tenth anniversary, this exhibition and business platform connects various industry opportunities with both the local and international real estate sector.

The event, attracting over 25,000 visitors, is an essential meeting point for industry leaders and brands to generate business, plan projects, connect, and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends. 

Since 2021, the Colombian Real Estate market has experienced sustained growth and continues to establish itself as one of the key sectors for the country's economic recovery. According to figures from the newspaper El Tiempo, around 27,000 housing units were sold in 2022, and the year ended with 600 active real estate projects in the region. 

During the Fair, the "Sapiencia Connection" cycle was held in the Green Pavilion of Plaza Mayor, a forum for learning and competitiveness where experts in design, architecture, and innovation shared their knowledge and experiences. 

Ricardo Fernandez, Regional Business Development Manager of the Studio, participated with his presentation titled "Keys to Projecting Shared Habitat: Territory, Community, and Architecture". The presentation focused on the human experience and how to conceptualize projects that act as development platforms to inspire and empower communities, connecting them with their heritage, the city, and nature. 

Various cases were presented to exemplify and delve deeper into these topics. The talk concluded by highlighting the experience with Artificial Intelligence and the partnership with Microsoft, aspects that generated great interest among the attendees.
