GP at the Second Real Estate Development Conference in Salta.

On October 16, the Second Real Estate Development Conference of Salta took place at the UCASAL Aula Magna, bringing together around 140 industry participants, including developers, architects, students, and builders.

The event offered a unique opportunity to explore key market topics, such as smart design, housing labeling, and project sustainability. Moderated by Arq. Pedro Fernández, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture at UCASAL, the panel featured prominent speakers and sparked meaningful discussions on how real estate development is reshaping the city’s landscape, creating new urban centers and identities.

Among the keynote speakers, Arq. Santiago Pérez, Head of International Business Development at Gómez Platero, delivered a pivotal presentation titled "Innovation in Rental and Sales Models: Shaping the Future of Real Estate." Pérez highlighted the critical role of common spaces in real estate developments, stating that “the city is the first amenity.” His talk emphasized how innovative business models can transform the conception of real estate projects, enhancing both urban spaces and sustainability.

Beyond the presentations, the conference provided practical insights. Attendees toured construction sites to gain firsthand knowledge of ongoing developments in Salta, both within the city and surrounding areas. A standout example is San Lorenzo Chico, a satellite city evolving into a mixed-use urbanization. This project is driven by multiple stakeholders and exemplifies the collaboration within CADISAL, the Salta Chamber of Developers. Rather than competing for sectors, developers are aligning residential and commercial uses, working toward the creation of a 15-minute walkable city where all amenities are within reach.

The tour continued in Cafayate, an area where tourism plays a significant role. Participants explored the region’s tourism-driven development, with impressive occupancy rates and attractive rental values, marking Cafayate as a strategic hub for real estate investment.

Organized by the CADISAL Young Entrepreneurs Committee, the event exceeded expectations, solidifying Salta’s position as a key destination for real estate investment. Initiatives such as “Invest in Salta” highlight the province’s competitive advantages and vast growth opportunities.
