Reading time: 2 minutes.
Organized by Inmobiliare, the event took place on September 21 at the Hyatt Playa del Carmen hotel, bringing together experts and leaders from the real estate sector, both local and international.
The steady growth of the Real Estate sector in the region has positioned it as one of the most stable and attractive in Latin America. This is due to its diverse cultural, geographical, and gastronomical offerings, which together create a magnet for property acquisition for both retirement and tourism purposes.
The themes of the event focused on sustainability and development in Riviera Maya for the tourism and hospitality industry, technology applied to project financing, and the infrastructure of real estate developments. Arianna Guerrero, in charge of Business Development in Mexico for Gomez Platero, commented: “The area has consolidated itself as a strong market for the purchase and development of real estate projects. Among the trends impacting the local real estate market, sustainable tourism plays a fundamental role in the region, evidenced in the transformation of the hotel industry towards more sustainable practices.”
Santiago Pérez, an architect in the Business Development area of the studio, participated alongside Jorge David Carrillo (Grupo GEA), Carolina Granados (Archetika), Arq. Ricardo Dan Diaz (The Facade Studio), and Liliana Bernal García (Mind Growth Management) in the talk "Infrastructure in Real Estate Development." During this session, the best practices in master planning for design and real estate development were highlighted, and opportunities in residential, mixed-use, and hotel projects were explored.
