THE OFFICE TENANT WEEK: Innovation in Corporate Workspaces.

Publication date: November 2024.

The Office Tenant Week will be held on November 20-21 at Avenida Escazú in San José, Costa Rica. This conference, organized by Revista INversión INmobiliaria, is one of the leading events in Real Estate and Workplace, designed to analyze the trends reshaping the industry and anticipate the future of workspaces.

The fourth edition of the event will bring together over 40 experts and 250 attendees, who will explore topics such as resilient office design, neuroarchitecture, and sustainability in the sector through conferences and panels.

According to INEC data, the business outlook for Costa Rica’s real estate market in 2024 is focused on adapting existing spaces to new demands, driving a 12% growth in new projects and nearly 20% in renovations. The industrial market leads real estate investment with projected growth of over 33%, benefitting other sectors by creating jobs, increasing housing demand, and activating local commerce.

Over two days, top-level professionals will share insights and experiences with users, real estate developers, property owners, consultants, and other corporate real estate stakeholders. Alongside enriching knowledge across the corporate value chain, the event will provide a unique networking and interaction space, with multiple venues designed to optimize the experience. Activities will be held in various settings, including auditoriums, cinemas, hotels, and outdoor spaces.

On the second day of the conference at 11:30 a.m., Santiago Perez, Head of International Business Development at the firm, will lead the workshop "Evolving Workspaces: Hyperflexibility and Organizational Culture," which will address how hyperflexibility has become an essential strategy for adapting workspaces to rapid technological and organizational changes, optimizing performance, and strengthening identity and cohesion within companies.

In the words of Hernán Freer, General Director of Revista INversión INmobiliaria, this conference is an economic development engine and a catalyst for regional innovation: “We have taken on the challenge of inspiring attendees to adopt transformative roles and lead meaningful change within their organizations. Today, the sector is at the peak of a revolution, with the capacity to create value for both businesses and human capital, leveraging a unique economic and social context to maximize the potential of the work environment.”
