Car One is an international-scale commercial development that has established itself in Uruguay with a large-scale proposal focused on the sale of new and used vehicles. The project is organized around a main triangular building with a central courtyard that houses various dealership showrooms, creating a flexible and efficient space for the display and sale of automobiles.

Car One offers a comprehensive proposal, incorporating additional services such as a mechanical workshop, supermarket, and various commercial and gastronomic areas, aiming to meet all visitor needs in one place.
Landscape design and architecture converge to create an exceptional user experience, offering a safe and comfortable journey in a high-quality environment where users can access all necessary services. The commercial blocks are arranged around an open plaza that acts as an urban connector, structuring the various retail spaces and generating a diverse and dynamic commercial fabric.
Since its opening, the complex has become a meeting point for residents of the surrounding neighborhoods, who find in the commercial promenade and quality public space an ideal setting for socializing and leisure.
The central plaza is organized into distinct sectors according to use: seating areas with pergolas, grassy slopes, benches, and walkways; a children’s area with playgrounds, urban furniture, and bicycle racks; and a dry plaza with benches and circular planters, promoting landscape integration and collective appropriation of the space. The walkways fluidly connect these sectors, enhancing accessibility and spatial continuity.
Finally, the signage system designed for the project plays a crucial role, guiding users and providing key information to facilitate circulation and decision-making. This integrated system establishes a strategic communication platform, ensuring coherence and effectiveness at all levels of development.

Strategically located on the Interbalnearia Highway, Car One benefits from a privileged position, with direct connections to the airport and the city of Montevideo to the west, and to the country’s main tourist resorts to the east. This location reinforces its role as a commercial and service hub within the metropolitan area.
The architectural design integrates four buildings that form a cohesive unit, reflecting the principles of contemporary commercial design. In addition to the main Car Center building, the complementary volumes accommodate large anchor stores, a food court, chain restaurants, and other retail spaces. Glazed facades enhance product visibility and create bright, functional spaces aimed at providing a distinctive shopping experience.
