Valle del Mar distinguishes itself with a dual-focus design approach that addresses both the broader urban scale and the intricate architecture of its individual components. The site is characterized by its unique geographical and topographic features, boasting a steep decline towards the west and a low-density urban area adjacent to the beach, thus ensuring a visual linkage with the Pacific Ocean, even from a non-coastal position.
The project thoughtfully navigates the existing topography, incorporating roads, pedestrian pathways, and conserving archaeological sites, to foster an urban development respectful of slopes under 12%. It employs a selective use of indigenous materials and thoughtfully incorporates water into the landscape to craft distinct spaces marked by ponds and swimming pools.
Sustainable development is at the heart of the architectural vision, which seeks to optimize the utilization of commercial and communal areas, while green roofs on public buildings are envisioned to enhance aerial vistas and mitigate visual impacts.
Inspired by organic forms reminiscent of clams or mollusks, the urban design not only strengthens the project's identity but also accentuates its maritime connection. This strategic branding approach streamlines project communication and its phased execution.
The residential layout, organized into cluster formations, ensures a harmonious integration with the land, seamlessly blending built structures with verdant spaces. This layout fosters the creation of open areas dedicated to parks, recreational and sports facilities, and communal amenities.
Integral to the architectural concept, the landscape design proposes vignettes that valorize the site's geographical traits and introduce new natural settings equipped with amenities, promoting an active and community-centric outdoor lifestyle.
Complementing the project, a comprehensive branding strategy for Valle del Mar mirrors the innovative design's synergy with its natural surroundings. Drawing inspiration from marine elements to symbolize the development's connection with its environment, this central narrative bolsters the project's communicative strategy, aiding in the delineation of its developmental phases and internal zoning. This cohesive visual identity not only elevates the project's architectural and sustainable merits but also guarantees its market distinction through memorable and impactful branding.
